Disinfect your garbage can in four minutes
- Take the can outside and lay it on the side to spray it using a hose. This hose will work just as perfect.
- Make a mixture of bleach and water and use a toilet brush to scrub the inside of the can.
- The dirty water should be dumped down your household drain. Do not dump it into the street sewer.
- Allow the can to dry while standing upright.
- Baking powder should be sprinkled on the can once dry to make sure it is disinfected.
You do not want bacteria and mold find their breeding ground here and you do not want to contract diseases.
Clean the oven in three minutes
- You should plan ahead for this. Some cleaning cycles take hours and can heat up your kitchen.
- There are some self cleaning ovens in most homes today. If this is what you have, then use the manual to follow the cleaning instructions. Most self cleaning ovens go ahead to clean the broiling pans and grates too.
- For the non self cleaning ovens, you should buy the recommended commercial oven cleaner. This should also be environmentally friendly piece. Rubber gloves should be available for use.
- Do not forget to follow the instructions in the manual when cleaning. Spread this cleaner on the surfaces of the oven to ensure that you clean all the surfaces. The used rags should be put in plastic bag ready to throw away. Once done, close the oven and let it sit for the recommended hours.
You should note that the more pristine your oven is, the more pristine your food is.
Clean the blinds in 5 minutes
- Fill your bathtub with warm water and use a dish detergent to clean the blinds.
- Unhook the blinds and lay them flat in the mixture of water and dish detergent.
- You will note that immediately this is done, most gunk will come off. Rub the blinds using a rag.
- Drain your tab and let the blinds sit for some hours to dry lightly.
- Hook them back and use a bathmat below them to catch the remaining drips.
